HireGenics, Inc. in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Production Operator I for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm–11:30 pm).

This entry-level role supports safe, efficient and high-quality production by following established work instructions and SOPs. You will perform basic manufacturing tasks, load and replenish materials, maintain a clean work area, and participate in daily production planning while developing foundational technical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.

HireGenics is immediately hiring a Production Operator in Buffalo Grove, IL.

2nd shift 2pm to 11:30 pm $20.21 per hour

Production Operator I is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic manufacturing functions by following established work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role supports safe, efficient and high-quality production while developing foundational technical skills within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned production tasks in accordance with work instructions, SOPs and quality standards
• Identify components and demonstrate understanding of materials
• Differentiate between standard labeling and special labeling
• Load, unload and replenish materials or components as required
• Maintain work area organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles
• Perform basic visual inspections of materials and finished products
• Demonstrate basic understanding of production schedule, including;
• Reviewing daily production assignments
• Prioritizing and time management
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance in accordance with company policy
• Understand and comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements
• Support a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols while maintaining production efficiency and quality output.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25lbsAbilit to maintain focus and precision during repetitive assembly tasks
