Production Operator - 1st shift (Finance)

Pay: $22.50 per hour

Shift & Working Hours: 1st shift Monday- Friday 6am-2pm; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

Join our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team as a Production Operator on the 1st shift. You will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs, contributing to the creation of final high-quality products. This role involves operating machinery, equipment, and packaging the final product, providing valuable skills and experience in manufacturing.

This position is part of our Omnium business, a dedicated partner in manufacturing crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow all safety procedures and promote safety practices among team members.
2. Arrive on time, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
3. Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet production demands.
4. Adhere to quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
6. Collaborate with Leads and Management to complete daily tasks.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
3. Basic computer and math skills.
4. Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
5. Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude.

Preferred Experience:

1. Over 1 year of manufacturing experience.
2. Machine operation and forklift experience.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
2. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
3. Perform duties while wearing PPE.
4. Work in temperature zones that include cold and hot environments, possibly with dust and chemicals.
