Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Operator for our Audubon, PA location.

The Production Operator will perform assigned functions in the packaging area to ensure product quality for patient safety, working in Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product) and Primary Packaging Rooms (exposed product) as required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Set-up, operation, shutdown, and cleaning of all production equipment following cGMP standards and Almac SOPs.
  2. Complete all required documentation accurately per SOPs.
  3. Perform roll changes, clear jams, and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
  4. Use only validated equipment for production operations.
  5. Complete log books as per SOPs.
  6. Ensure equipment setup and operation match design layouts and batch documentation.
  7. Communicate equipment issues to the Production Mechanic.
  8. Work in contained processing operations.
Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of machine/mechanical or related experience
  • Minimum two years of operations or related experience
  • Experience with processing or mechanical equipment

Preferred Experience / Education:

  • Mechanical/Electrical degree or training
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or similar GMP environment
  • Experience with pharmaceutical processing equipment in GMP settings
