We are hiring a Machine Operator/Production Worker at our Mattoon, IL plant.

Hourly Rate: $22.50 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift 7am - 3 pm (overtime required as needed)

Role Summary:

To contribute to the production of metal insulated building panels, following supervisor instructions. Requires strong mathematical, communication, and mechanical skills, with a focus on quality and safety.

Essential Duties:

• Follow work assignments and coordinate with supervisors and team leaders.
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
• Complete preventative maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
• Report performance issues and assist in disciplinary actions if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, and balancing.
