Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator in Reading, PA to supervise daily production line activities, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. The role involves hourly quality/product reports and adhering to strict GMP and Food Safety standards within a fast paced plant environment.

Minimum HS diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree is preferred. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring safety, quality, and throughput.
• Accurately completes quality and production reports hourly.
• Perform visual and physical inspections to prevent non-conforming goods.
• Report quality defects to shift leadership and follow up with corrective actions.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety Standards at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping and manage raw materials to minimize downtime.
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
