Job summary

Rogers Corporation is seeking a production line operator to work on the manufacturing floor, following supervisors’ directions and meeting daily production goals. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot complex equipment, perform inspections and accurately log data.

The role requires basic computer skills, willingness to obtain forklift certification, and a commitment to safety and teamwork on site in Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; may consider equivalent work experience.
• Willing and able to become forklift certified.
• Willing and able to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure production efficiency.
• Perform visual inspection, measurement and testing according to procedures.
• Accurately record production data into the computer database.
• Communicate with departments regarding product quality, material availability and processing issues.

Job description

This role works on the production line to meet defined goals. The position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor and/or lead on daily basis.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot complex equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of materials.
• Perform visual inspection, measurement and testing in accordance with established procedures
• Accurately record production data into the computer database
• Communicate with various departments regarding product quality issues, material availability and processing issues
• Maintain safe work environment, including cleaning, minor maintenance on the equipment and area clean up
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• Willing and able to become certified in fork lift operation
• Willing and able to work with computers
