Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to operate basic machinery according to SOPs in a Michigan facility. You will load materials, monitor operations, and perform routine checks in a team-oriented environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma (preferred) and a willingness to follow safety guidelines. Prior manufacturing experience is welcome but not required; strong attention to detail and basic math skills are valuable.

4. Performs routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
5. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
6. Adheres to all safety and company policies.
7. Assists in troubleshooting machine issues.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Qualifications

Education: High School (preferred)

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required. (preferred)
