Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in Michigan to operate basic machinery according to SOPs and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will load and unload materials, monitor operations, and report issues to supervision, while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates have basic machinery understanding, can follow instructions, and work well in a team. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
