Job Description: Production Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Perform routine activities to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with functional, quality, and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Follow directions and work well in a team.
• Interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Understand production equipment thoroughly.
