Costanzo's Bakery - Become a part of a Western New York Tradition, 90+ years in the making!

Costanzo's is building a team to initiate overnight operations at our facility in Cheektowaga. Regular hours will be 9pm-5am, Monday-Friday.

Training for newly hired Production Associates will take place on either first shift (5am-1pm) or second shift (1pm-9pm) before initiating 3rd shift operations.

Hourly rates for positions including Divider, Roll Line, Oven, and Mixer, range from $19 / hour - $22 / hour

Shift differential for 3rd shift is an additional $1.50 / hour for hours worked on third shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Works at different work stations or tasks as production needs require including Mixer, Divider, Stretching, Roll-Line, and Oven.
• Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning and other activities
• Monitor and properly adjust machine settings
• Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Check parts with precision, using appropriate measuring tools
• Conduct tests to check the operation of machines, on a regular basis
• Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift
• Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products
• Create and maintain activity logs
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements include:

• 1+ year of experience of working in a Packaging orProduction Operator position is a plus
• Excellent understanding of production procedures
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
