Job description

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule) 5 PM - 5 AM and 5 AM - 5 PM

Pay: Starting at $24.67/Hour with the ability to earn up to three $1 increases within the first year of employment!

Essential Duties

1. Responsible for operation of equipment in a safe manner to prevent damage to equipment and to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
2. Must wear all safety and health protective equipment as specified. Must follow all safety rules.
3. Must be able to safely load and unload material using a fork-lift.
4. Must keep accurate operational records as directed.
5. Must participate fully as a member of the machine crew during downtime and start-up, product changes, operational problems, clean up, etc.
6. Responsible for housekeeping lists in your assigned area.
7. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
8. Perform any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; to raise and lower objects; to extend hands and arms; to bend at knees and waist; and to talk or hear.
2. Frequently required to stand for long periods, walk, and assist in machine thread-up, climb ladders, and use stairs.
3. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
4. Specific vision abilities include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
5. Must wear and use safety equipment including glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and headgear.

Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of relevant experience. Preference given to candidates with manufacturing experience, reliable work history, mechanical aptitude, or leadership experience.
