Position Overview:

The Production Operator III contributes to the team-oriented production process by operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery failures, aiding in preventative maintenance, and maintaining sanitation standards. The role also involves ensuring a safe work environment and mastering enterprise software for data management. Competency in activities impacting product safety, legality, and quality is required, along with teamwork skills. Starting salary is $24.24 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow production schedules and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
2. Operate facility metal detectors and ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards.
3. Adhere to company policies, including safety, EEO, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
4. Perform specific duties based on assigned job functions (e.g., scaler, wrap machine operator, sponge mixer, make-up breakperson, wrap breakperson), ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least two (2) years of related experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance). Military training, related technical training, or 45 college credit hours may substitute. Completion of the AIB 'Science of Baking' course is a plus.
