Job description

Production Operator

This role is part of our Nutra Blend business, a leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices for self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts quickly to changes
• Able to multitask and meet production demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensures all quality standards and SOPs are followed during production
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Collaborates and follows instructions from Leads and Management to accomplish daily tasks

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude

Preferred Experience:

• Over 1 year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
• Perform duties wearing PPE
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and hot environments, possibly with dust and chemicals
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Additional Details:

Pay: $22 per hour, starting

Shift & Hours: 1st Shift; 7 AM - 3:30 PM; weekends/overtime/holidays as needed

Training: Bi-weekly safety and quality training from 6 AM to 7 AM

Shift Transition: Willing to transition to a 6 AM - 4:30 PM, 4-day workweek as assigned

Overtime: Occasional Saturdays, 7 AM - 12 PM
