Production Operator

Pay: $19.50 per hour plus $1/hour Shift Differential

Shift & Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 1 PM to 11 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

Join our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team as a Production Operator, where you'll perform essential tasks such as continuous improvement, cleaning, sanitizing, and equipment operation, including forklift operation and certification. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products. Be part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This role supports our Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers and animal owners across the U.S., by innovating nutritional products that promote healthier, more productive animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complies with all safety processes and promotes safety practices for self and others
• Arrives on time, meets deadlines, and adapts quickly to changes
• Manages multiple tasks and maintains productivity in a fast-paced setting
• Follows all quality standards and standard operating procedures during production
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Collaborates with Leads and Management to complete daily assignments

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude

Preferred Experience:

• Over 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, climbing
• Performing duties while wearing PPE
• Working in hot/cold environments, dust, and chemical presence
