Job Opportunity: Production Operator in Sheridan, AR

Staffmark is seeking motivated individuals for a Production Operator position at a leading building envelope system manufacturer in Sheridan, AR. This role offers an engaging environment that values inclusivity, supports growth, and encourages teamwork.

Pay and Shift

• Pay: $19/hr
• Shift: Days

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate overhead cranes and manufacturing tools
2. Perform quality checks and document results
3. Conduct minor preventative maintenance
4. Detect machine malfunctions and workpiece defects
5. Measure workpiece dimensions for accuracy
6. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
7. Collaborate with team members and assist in other department duties
8. Lift up to 60 lbs and operate tools including grinders, banding equipment, nail guns, torches, and hand tools

Requirements

• Dependable team player
• Experience with measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, squares, etc.
• Ability to read job specifications and adjust machines accordingly
• Overhead crane operation experience is preferred
• Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends when necessary
