Plant Operator

The Plant Operator will be responsible for all production, blending, loading, and unloading of plant chemicals. The role requires understanding and operating all plant processes and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The Plant Operator reports to the Plant Manager.

Major Accountabilities

• Produce and mix chemicals as needed.
• Understand and operate plant equipment and processes.
• Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers, and other containers.
• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
• Operate pumps, mixers, and blenders.
• Operate forklift.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform light maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications include:

• Ability to work safely and promote safety practices.
• Quality conscious.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stable work history, with a minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience preferred.
• Willingness to submit to background screening, pre-employment drug screening, and physical.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and learn new skills.
• Capacity to work in extreme temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexibility to work varying hours or shifts if needed.
• Experience in manufacturing and use of tools and equipment is preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE including chemical-resistant gloves, boots, safety glasses, hard hat, face shield, respirator, and chemical splash suit.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (this job does not offer sponsorship).
