Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed in Little Rock, AR, is hiring for all shifts in a union facility. The role focuses on operating machine sections, set-ups, and quality testing to support production.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–3+ years in manufacturing, strong safety and 5S knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8–12 hour shifts. This is a union facility with competitive compensation.

Job description

Team Members must demonstrate core skills that include understanding Company safety policies, housekeeping standards, statistical process control, following verbal and written instructions, knowing the product line and manufacturing standards, and the essential duties for assigned workstations.

Now Hiring for All Shifts (Monday-Friday)

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Compensation

$21.79 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Operate various machine sections

Is this job for you ?

• High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
• Must be able to read, write, perform the four basic math functions, and be physically able to perform the essential duties
• 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have a basic knowledge of 5S
• Adherence to strict safety policies
• Adherence to the highest quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, raw material & process deficiencies
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization
• Must have the ability to recognize and prioritize various tasks/projects at the same time
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 to 12 hours per shift, perform physically demanding tasks, lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and participate in team lifts for heavier loads. Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working in various areas of the facility as required.
