Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated production teammate in Fort Dodge, IA. You will operate production equipment, package products, and move materials using forklift and pallet jack to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires overnight 12-hour shifts (7PM–7AM) on a 2/2/3 schedule and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be willing to work a 12-hour overnight shift from 7PM to 7AM on a 2/2/3 schedule.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime is required.
• Manufacturing, Production, or Warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate various lines of production equipment.
• Package products.
• Move raw materials or finished packaged goods using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Provide relief for absences or vacations.
• Supply production lines and meat prep stations with adequate supplies.
• Measure, weigh, blend, and add materials to manual or automated systems.
• Adjust equipment speeds and temperatures as needed.
• Pull samples and perform quality tests.
• Assist with quality trials or deliver test samples to Quality Assurance.
• Visually inspect ingredients and substandard pallets or cans and remove foreign materials.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on equipment.
• Use prescribed lockout procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet all Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental standards.
