Job summary

Jobtailor in United States, Oklahoma, is seeking a Packaging Operator to plan, assemble, and repair crates and packaging containers, prepare products for shipment, and perform quality checks. You will work on the 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing or warehouse settings, basic English, ability to use computers and do basic math, and willingness to follow

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.
  • Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to utilize computer technology and basic math skills.
  • Ability to safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assemble, fabricate, or repair crates, boxes, cartons, and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers.
  • Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
  • Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
  • Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition.
  • Adapt and problem-solve quickly when unforeseen equipment issues arise during normal operations.
  • Work the current shift option of 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
