Join to apply for the Production Operator role at AGC Chemicals Americas Inc.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc., located in Downingtown, PA, is seeking safety-minded individuals to join our unionized production team. This physically demanding role involves standing, walking, bending, ascending and descending stairs, and handling drums weighing up to 225 pounds.

The position requires mechanical aptitude for disassembling and re-assembling machinery, troubleshooting skills, and safe forklift operation. The openings are for off-shift positions based on seniority, with shifts including 3rd shift (11 pm - 7 am) and 2nd shift (3 pm - 11 pm).

Applicants must be available for daily overtime twice a week and scheduled weekend overtime. The starting hourly rate is $20.00, increasing to $29.11 after one year. Shift differentials are $1.50/hour for 3rd shift and $1.00/hour for 2nd shift.

There is a 60-day probationary period. Upon successful completion, employees are eligible for medical benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid sick days, and holidays.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read and record part numbers, lot numbers, and instrument displays.

• Ability to perform physically strenuous tasks, including standing, stair climbing, and handling drums weighing 225 pounds or more.
