Job summary

Duracard in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Production Operator to perform tasks involved in the production of Bristol ID’s products. You will report to the Production Manager and work as part of a manufacturing team to ensure quality and efficiency across the production line.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, attention to detail, timely data recording, and a willingness to participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or current pursuit required.

Responsibilities

  • Feed and unload products from production equipment.
  • Handle, install, position, move, and manipulate materials with hands and arms.
  • Operate machines using control mechanisms.
  • Inspect products for defects.
  • Record information per established policies and procedures.
  • Assemble, label, and inspect boxes for packing specifications.
  • Remove finished or defective products to designated areas.
  • Operate any required production equipment.
  • Help maintain facility cleanliness (interior and exterior).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Suggest process improvements.

Job Title: Production Operator

Reports to: Production Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Position Objective / Summary: The Production Operator performs all tasks involved in the production of Bristol ID’s products by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Feed and / or unload products from production equipment
  • Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials
  • Use control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines
  • Inspect product for flaws
  • Record information according to established policies and procedures
  • Assemble, label, and examine boxes to ensure packing specifications are met
  • Remove completed or defective products, placing them in specified areas
  • Operates any equipment needed to perform job
  • Aid in facility cleanliness; interior and exterior
  • Performs related duties as needed by supervision
  • Makes recommendations for process improvement
