Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Michigan is seeking a production-based Machine Operator to support daily manufacturing operations.

You will operate basic machinery per SOPs, load materials, monitor outputs, perform basic maintenance, and keep the work area clean and safe. The role requires strong teamwork, basic math, and ERP familiarity; fluency in English is expected for effective communication in the plant.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
