Job summary

3M in Ames, IA is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations. You will follow procedures to produce quality products and collaborate with team members to meet delivery goals.

Starting pay is $26.49 per hour with potential to reach $27.55. Medical, vision, dental, life insurance begin on day one, and 401(k) with company match. Three weeks of vacation and twelve holidays are provided, with advancement opportunities.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (verified prior to start)
• Interested and available to work any shift available, including, but not limited to fixed night shifts, rotating shifts and Holidays as needed.
• Interested and available to work overtime, daily and weekends and short notice shift coverage

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process

The starting rate of pay for this position is, $26.49, with the potential to reach $27.55.
