Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Operations Technician in Dayton, OH to help run and support chemical, mechanical, and thermal processes. You will troubleshoot equipment, monitor production, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires physical ability, English communication, and willingness to work rotating shifts with overtime. Training and development opportunities are offered within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and chemical, mechanical, or thermal processes across production areas.
• Monitor and adjust production processes to meet quality specs.
• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance; troubleshoot equipment with basic tools.
• Record production data and manage inventory; load/unload materials with mobile equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and follow standard operating procedures.
