Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Onsite IT Operations professional to maintain plant infrastructure across manufacturing facilities in the Dayton area. You will monitor networks, troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable, secure operations. Travel to nearby sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

• Onsite IT role within manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitors performance of network, virtual and physical devices to ensure smooth operations.
• Diagnoses and resolves moderately complex infrastructure and workplace technology problems affecting routers, switches, servers and other assets.
• Monitors and responds to incidents, outages and performance alerts.
• Performs protocol analysis to troubleshoot network issues.
• Configures and deploys hardware and software ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
• Collaborates with vendors, service providers and internal teams for onsite work and timely updates.
• Documents issues, resolutions and performance trends for leadership.
• Develops backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
• Co-leads IT projects to deliver upgrades and migrations on time and budget.
• Develops automation scripts to streamline infrastructure tasks.
