Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee the handling of scrap, recyclables, and waste from automobile manufacturing.

The role requires ensuring EMS performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous environmental improvement while coordinating with safety and quality teams. The position involves leading a team, applying standardized work instructions, and supporting the development of operational procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Team Members in removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturing facilities in a safe manner.
• Ensures monthly safety KPIs and other reports are completed.
• Leads team meetings and training; participates in Kaizen activities.
• Assists in creating operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.
• Adheres to 5S standards for housekeeping and workspace organization.
