Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Operations to lead daily warehouse/logistics operations, ensuring safe practices, quality control, and on-time delivery. You will supervise supervisors and technicians, drive KPI performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes Lean/TPS execution, Kaizen events, and seamless ERP system activity, including SAP, to optimize inventory and workflow across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive warehouse/logistics operations experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience implementing standard work, managing vendor/carrier performance, and leading floor teams in automotive/industrial settings.
• Lean/TPS Certification or ASCM CPIM/CSCP or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and governance over an assigned warehouse, facility site, or specific logistics business line.
• Execute localized supply chain strategies to guarantee safe operations, strict quality control, and on-time delivery performance.
• Supervise warehouse supervisors, leads, and technicians, monitor KPIs, and maintain audit readiness.
• Lead localized lean improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, QA, and Trade Compliance to review requirements and resolve delivery deviations; maintain on-site compliance logs.
• Direct day-to-day usage of WMS, TMS, and SAP systems and ensure data integrity.
