Job summary

Teknor Apex Company seeks a Production Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing operations, including staff, equipment, materials, and processes involved in production, curing, and final output.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity with budget responsibilities up to 20 million. You will lead a manufacturing team across shifts, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with environmental and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering preferred.
• 6–8 years of production management experience with safety, quality, throughput, and Lean/CI initiatives.
• Experience across multiple shifts or departments is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change-agent capabilities.
• Ability to use computers and production systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and monitor safety programs and trends.
• Manage Production Department staff, training, and development.
• Review production results and trends; drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead departmental activities to meet safety and production targets.
• Develop cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and SOPs.
• Submit monthly reports comparing results to budget.
