Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a Production Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing operations, including staff, equipment, materials, and processes involved in production, curing, and final product output. This role ensures safe, quality-focused, and cost-efficient production with strong leadership across shifts and cross-functional teams.

A bachelor’s degree and 6–8 years of production management experience are preferred to drive continuous improvement and meet company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; chemistry or engineering experience preferred.
• 6–8 years of production management experience with safety, product quality, throughput/OEE, and Lean initiatives.
• Experience managing teams across multiple shifts or departments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and monitor safety programs; develop improvements.
• Manages Production Department staff; selects and develops personnel.
• Reviews and analyzes daily/monthly production results against goals.
• Directs activities to meet safety, production, waste, and employee relations goals.
• Lead cost control efforts and deployment of resources as needed.
• Coach and develop team to operate assigned production lines and ensure training is up to date.
