Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 90 minutes at a time.
• Must manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of production supervisors, operators, and staff across shifts and locations to meet goals.
• Communicate across shifts to align with policies and standards.
• Coordinate plant-to-plant transfers as needed.
• Establish training and cross-training plans for consistency and flexibility.
• Define annual Vision, Mission, and Objectives for the Production Department.
• Set KPIs and evaluate performance against targets.
• Oversee all orders and production deadlines, flag deviations.
• Monitor equipment capacities and take proactive actions to maintain service levels.
• Provide feedback and perform associate evaluations; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Manage schedules including overtime and approved leaves.
• Coordinate with Quality to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Review ERP/MRP data for decision making.
• Ensure LEAN practices, plant layout optimization, waste reduction, and change control.
