Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking a Production Operations Controller to coordinate and optimize inbound/outbound operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role oversees daily planning, workforce management, and site performance metrics, acting as a liaison across Finance, Inventory, and Sales.

Must be flexible with shifts and able to support operations across multiple teams to meet customer needs. This is an employee-owned distributor focused on natural and organic products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, production or related field.
• Food distribution or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound activities to meet schedules.
• Plan staffing and cross-training; review staff levels and goals.
• Lead shifts, develop immediate action plans to meet commitments.
• Liaise between departments to maintain seamless workflows and satisfy customer needs.
• Implement continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with Finance, Inventory Management, Sales on operations and efficiencies.
• May work multiple shifts including overnight and weekends.
