Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Production Miner to join our field operations in Wisconsin. This developing operator role emphasizes safe production, proactive hazard identification, and adherence to MSHA/OSHA standards.

You will train toward the Equipment Operator duties, support process improvements, and work flexible shifts to meet project needs. Strong communication and ownership of equipment care are expected.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Probationary period of six months from date of hire.
• 0-2 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exemplary attendance and safety records.
• Flexibility on daily duty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and communicate safety concerns to crews and leadership.
• Support process improvement efforts and near-miss reporting.
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and compliance verification.
• Demonstrate Turner Values and lead by example in daily decisions.
• Assist with training proficiency audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain housekeeping to high standards in equipment and work areas.
