Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Production Miner to join our field operations. The candidate will develop into Equipment Operator duties, uphold safety and productive performance, and model Turner Values in daily decisions. Responsibilities include hazard identification, training and audits, maintaining housekeeping, and supporting site leadership on process improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Probationary period of six months from date of hire.
• 0-2 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Competence with equipment listed (Water truck, Haulage truck).

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and control measures with the crew.
• Define processes to motivate working towards common goals.
• Assist with training proficiency audits and regulatory task training.
• Maintain high housekeeping and equipment care standards.
• Support site leadership with risk assessments and safety ownership.
