Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. and for the Altria family of companies.
• Be available to work any shift, and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Possess journeyman mechanical credentials or relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Regular, reliable attendance and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Repairing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Using hand and power tools responsibly.
• Using measuring tools for diagnostics.
• Rebuilding machinery subassemblies and components.
• Identifying and replacing faulty parts.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Performing reactive maintenance as needed.
• Reading machine schematics or parts prints.
• Reading machine and procedure manuals.
• Operating equipment to verify repairs.
• Collaborating with team members to solve problems.
