Job summary
Philip Morris USA is seeking an Instrument Electrician for our Richmond, VA facility. You will install, maintain, and repair production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and support process improvements in a team setting.
The role offers comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, a starting wage of $44.00/hour with potential to earn $51.76/hour after 120 days, and shift differentials. Relocation and incentive programs are available to eligible employees.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments is required.
- Willingness to work on any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent technical training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair production and packaging machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades to control systems.
- Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild assemblies per specifications.
- Evaluate problems and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaborate on quality, safety, and productivity improvements.
