Pratt & Whitney Holt, MI is seeking an onsite technician to cut, fit, and assemble advanced composite components for aircraft engines. You will disassemble parts, shape materials, and finish parts to exact tolerances while maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong teamwork and basic computer literacy are essential.

Responsabilités

• Cutting, sizing, and measuring composite materials per process instructions.
• Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components.

• Fabrication and finishing of composite and metal parts to tight tolerances.

What You Will Do

• Cutting, sizing, and measuring state of the art composite materials in accordance with process sheet instructions.
• Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components.
• Manipulating state of the art materials by stretching and heating to secure material to form molds.
• Performing composite and metal fabrication as well as finishing work within extremely tight tolerances to achieve required quality requirements.
• Be a self-starter and possess integrity and professionalism at all times.
• Demonstrate excellence working in a team environment and have proven ability and willingness to learn new tasks as required.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be able to work any shift, including first, second, and the potential for third shift, as required by business need. 2nd Shift Hours are 2pm-10pm.

• Experience in manufacturing environment or completed A&P certification.
• Experience with body work and painting, machine metal and hand tools or with composite materials, including fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar
