Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a dependable Production Material Handler for first shift (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM) to keep materials flowing and production moving.

You’ll transport raw materials, stage items at work centers, operate forklifts, receive and package shipments, and help maintain an accurate inventory and safe production area on a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Comfort working around machinery, noise, and typical manufacturing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Stage materials and components at work centers to support production.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks using proper procedures.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and organize materials in designated locations.
• Prepare and package finished products for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Complete inventory, shipping, and production-related documentation and data entry.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe production environment.

What You'll Do
