Job summary

Graber Manufacturing, Inc. in Waunakee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Material Coordinator (Water Spider) to support welders and fabricators by moving materials, supplies, and work-in-process across the production floor.

The role aims to minimize time spent away from workstations so crews can stay focused on fabrication tasks, with responsibilities including material delivery, staging, and movement of completed work while maintaining organization and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull materials.
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials, components, hardware, and supplies to welding and fabrication workstations.
• Monitor production areas and anticipate material needs before they interrupt production.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs based on production priorities.
• Move completed work and materials between production areas.
• Remove scrap, empty containers, and unnecessary materials from work areas.
• Maintain organized material locations throughout the fabrication area.
• Communicate material shortages, damaged materials, and other issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as trained.
• Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
