Job summary

Cascade Die Casting Group is seeking a Water Spider for the Great Lakes / Secondary Operations. The role ensures materials and paperwork are stocked at use points, enabling just-in-time production and supporting operators and machines.

You will move materials around the production floor, maintain organization, and assist with priority changes. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures to perform and set up any secondary machinery.
• Monitor workstations and replenish required parts, labels, and supplies timely.
• Prepare, communicate and execute a plan to provide material and paperwork to run the next job in queue for assigned work centers.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers, Supervisors, and Shipping and Receiving to ensure parts are ready to run when scheduled; from raw material stock to lines, between lines, and between Receiving and the lines.
• Create and print accurate labels in correspondence with part and deliver to workstation timely.
