Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a regulated medical device environment. You will drive production plans with cross-functional teams to meet schedules, quality, safety, and cost targets.

You will develop a high-performing production organization, manage staffing and training, and champion continuous improvement to optimize capacity and efficiency while ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive manufacturing experience with increasing responsibility.
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or management experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety, cost, delivery, and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply, Warehouse, and Planning to execute production plans.
• Develop a high-performing production organization through leadership, staffing, and performance management.
• Establish production priorities, manage capacity, and address constraints affecting delivery.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, on-time delivery, and equipment utilization.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and applicable medical device regulations and procedures.
• Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and staff; manage staffing and training.
• Support audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections; ensure audit-ready operations.
