Job summary

Symmetrio is seeking a Production Manager to lead operations for complex, low-volume capital equipment used in cancer treatment and healthcare applications. You will translate production plans into labor and capacity needs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with quality standards across multiple functions.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a regulated environment, with a focus on building a skilled production team, managing schedules, and delivering milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years directly managing production teams.
• Experience in a low-volume, high-mix, high-complexity environment such as medical devices or capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations and manage leads, technicians, and test personnel against build schedules.
• Own execution of daily/weekly build plans, material verification, and work order completion.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, and Program Management to resolve constraints and maintain schedule.
