Applied Medical Corporation is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a regulated medical device environment in California. This role focuses on driving performance, safety, quality, and schedule adherence through strong leadership and process optimization.

The position requires a bachelor’s in a manufacturing-related field or equivalent experience, with proven ability to manage teams and deliver continuous improvement across complex production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience leading production operations and manufacturing teams in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, materials, and process performance.
• Familiarity with production metrics like cycle time, scrap, yield, and OEE.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet targets, quality standards, and schedules.
• Develop and coach production teams for equipment setup, process monitoring, and output.
• Oversee equipment and systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Monitor yield, OEE, throughput, and other metrics to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP-like quality systems and regulatory requirements.
