Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking a hands-on Production Manager for the Orange, CA facility. You will lead daily production operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement across teams including Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales.

You will plan schedules, monitor performance metrics, develop staff, and coordinate maintenance to maximize efficiency. A background in manufacturing leadership, ERP/MRP systems, and lean improvement is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing or production experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience managing production schedules, workflows, and personnel.
Strong understanding of production processes, inventory control, quality systems and safety.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel/Office applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
Supervise and develop production staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.
Monitor workflow, staffing, equipment utilization and inventory levels.
Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Track production metrics and prepare reports on productivity and quality.
