Job summary

UFP Site Built in Berlin, NJ, is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant manufacturing operations and drive cost, quality, and productivity.

The role develops schedules, coordinates with other areas, trains staff, monitors safety, and optimizes resources to meet business goals. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience are preferred, with strong Office skills and a solid understanding of production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture and product lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long- and short-range production plans to meet cost goals.
• Develops production schedules and coordinates with other areas.
• Staffs operations to meet production targets and ensures proper training.
• Monitors efficiency, quality and safety per policy; initiates corrective actions.
• Manages inventory and equipment maintenance; ensures regulatory compliance.
