Job summary

UFP Site Built in Berlin, NJ is seeking a Production Manager to lead the plant's manufacturing operations, develop production schedules, and coordinate with other departments to meet cost and productivity targets.

You will supervise staff, train employees, monitor efficiency, manage inventory, and ensure safety and policy compliance while maintaining quality standards and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Preferred experience with UFP's organization, culture, and product lines.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long and short-range business plans and goals.
• Develops production schedules and forecasts inventory requirements.
• Ensures plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
• Staffs operations to meet production levels and trains employees.
• Monitors performance and initiates corrective action as required.
• Manages expenses and prepares reports and logs as required.
• Participates in Safety Committee and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
