Job summary

Banner Engineering in Minneapolis is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing across assigned production areas, overseeing staffing, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement. You will motivate and develop supervisors and production staff while maintaining a positive, accountable work environment.

The role reports to the Sr Operations Plant Manager and requires 5+ years of manufacturing management, a Bachelor’s degree, and proven knowledge of ERP systems, Lean and 5S

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations or related field.
• 5+ years management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production teams and manufacturing processes.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
• Knowledge of ERP production systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and set goals for employees.
• Monitor performance and coach for productivity while maintaining a positive environment.
• Ensure employees are effectively trained and kanban/lean practices followed.
• Lead Lean and 5S improvements in production areas.
• Collaborate with Production Planner, Line Leaders, engineering, and quality teams.
