Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking a Production Manager in Minnesota to lead multiple production areas, oversee staffing, safety, quality, and delivery, while driving Lean improvements and cost controls. You will mentor supervisors and employees and report to the Sr Operations Plant Manager.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor's in operations, and strong ERP and MS Office skills. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production teams and manufacturing processes in a multi-area manufacturing environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of ERP production systems, Microsoft Office tools, production build plans, and manufacturing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and set employee goals.
• Monitor performance and coach to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure employees are trained and participate in continuous improvement.
• Lead Lean and 5S initiatives to optimize production areas.
• Collaborate with planners, line leaders, and engineering teams.
