Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to ensure goals are met and schedules are followed.
• Meet set budget and department goals.
• Manage, direct, train and motivate a team through effective communication.
• Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
• Ensure materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
• Prepare, maintain and submit production reports timely and accurately.
• Ensure HACCP, GMPs and OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
• Perform evaluation reviews on production supervisors.
• Address employee disciplinary issues with Plant Manager/HR assistance.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with department members and other plant employees.
• Comply with all Federal, State and Company Safety guidelines.
• Use safety devices to alert others of safety concerns.
