Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality, training, development, and productivity on the converting shift. You will oversee day-to-day operations, enforce plant rules, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, corrugated background, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work all shifts including weekends. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve process and production issues independently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 1-3 years leadership experience required.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment required.
• 5 years corrugated experience with a strong background in Flexo folder gluers preferred.
• Knowledge of KIWI software a plus.
• Must be able to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations in the converting department.
• Ensure safety and adherence to plant rules and policies.
• Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management; communicate standards to employees.
• Identify improvement opportunities and assist with problem solving.
• Assess performance and training of converting personnel and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training, development and feedback for employees.
• Establish high morale by fairness and consistency; maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain inventories of sheets, inks and other converting supplies.
• Oversee quality checks including box checks in production processes.
• Conduct Production/Safety/Quality meetings with departmental personnel.
• Monitor and maintain housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
