Job summary

Tuff Shed Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing facility and drive operational excellence. You will supervise the Production Foreman and staff, oversee daily planning and scheduling, and ensure safety and quality in every build.

You will partner with store management on recruitment, manage tools and inventory, and handle warranty repairs as needed, while coordinating with the GM/DM on performance and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of construction or manufacturing experience.
• Significant experience in safety management.
• Experience supervising employees and resolving employee relations issues.
• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail or operations environment.
• Experience with CRM software such as Oracle, JDE, Onyx, Salesforce, Goldmine or similar systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Production Foreman and production employees.
• Perform manual tasks related to store operations, including loading trucks, fabricating buildings, operating a forklift, and delivering materials to job sites.
• Oversee daily planning and scheduling of the Operations team’s labor and materials.
• Recruit production roles, including prefabricators, in partnership with Store management.
• Ensure tools and equipment are secured, inventoried, and maintained to safety requirements.
• Oversee hardware allocation and inventory.
• Handle warranty issues and service repairs at jobsites as needed.
• Inspect completed buildings and provide feedback on performance, safety, and quality to Subcontractors and the team.
• Participate in safety trainings and national safety conference calls.
• Investigate work-related injuries and follow up with Store Manager guidance.
• Support performance management and career development for production staff.
• Resolve work problems and keep GM/DM informed of decisions.
• Assist GM/DM with monthly cycle counts and ongoing inventory management.
